We great you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. This is a message from the Governor of Ekiti State, telling you directly that he appreciates you. He expresses his love and solidarity with all Igbo people living in Ekiti State. Here is the direct message of His Excellency, the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, to every Igbo, old and young, men and women, students, workers, traders, teachers and farmers who live in Ekiti State:’Yourjoy is my joy. Your pain is my pain. I give my word of honour that the Ekiti State Government under me will protect you and guarantee your interests. Your future in Ekiti State is guaranteed. You are safer in Ekiti more than any other places in Nigeria. Continue to do your legitimate businesses, I’m with you.’ The Governor does not only recognise you as a formidable partner, the Governor values your contributions to the overall development of Ekiti State.
The Governor promises you again and again, that you are entitled to all the incentives under his government: education, loans for business, scholarships and job opportunities. He has started this initiative in his first term, in his second term, you will see triple of these benefits.
We call on you to please go out in large numbers in June to demonstrate your love, your affection for a Governor that recogises you, a Governor that cares about you, a Governor that is always ready to partner with you, to listen to your fears and to meet your aspirations. The victory of Biodun Oyebanji is your victory. We call on you to share the message from Oyebanji, to relay his declarations in your town meetings and to echo his extended warm handshake to all Igbo living in Ekiti State.
