This message goes to northerners living in Ekiti State. The message comes as a strong indication that the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, has a lot of respect for you. He values you. He respects you.
We plead to you to share this message of love and solidarity in your meetings, in your wards, in your groups, among your leaders and let the message of hope go down to every member of your ethnic association, men and women, young and old. The Governor is hereby telling you that you are protected, your future and that of your wives and children are guaranteed in Ekiti State. In the past three years, you have worked with the Governor. He expresses appreciation and love to all of you. The message of appreciation goes to people of diverse ethnic groups from northern Nigeria – Hausa, Tiv, Ebira, Igala, Igede, Fulani, all people from the North. You are major stakeholders in the development of Ekiti State. On behalf of the South-West Independent Campaign Movement (SWICAM), we call again for your support in the coming gubernatorial election which holds in June 2026. You are part of the heritage of Ekiti State. You have been doing your businesses in Ekiti State without molestation. This tells you that the State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji understands and appreciates you as one of us, that Ekiti is a land of honour that embraces every ethnic group from across the country. Ekiti is your home. Your members will continue to benefit from education, infrastructure, loans and other incentives available for every Ekiti person. You are not exempted. The Governor guarantees equal rights for all of you, in the day, in the night, in the sun and in the rain. We shall continue to stand together shoulder-to-shoulder in our strive to make Ekiti great.
We appeal to you to come out in large numbers to vote for your compatriot and friend in the struggle, His Excellency Biodun Oyebanji. Your vote for him is a vote of peace, recognition and commitment to your needs. It is a vote for stability, oneness and elimination of fear.
