We address this special message to you, our dear civil servants in Ekiti State because we care, we value you as stakeholders in the transformation of Ekiti State. Elections are not just seasonal rituals, they are also about your future. Voting for the right candidate will lead to prosperity. Voting for the wrong candidate will lead to stunted growth. The right candidate will bring peace and prosperity, the bad candidate will pull down Ekiti and set the state on a path to human misery. We commend your support for the past four years. Even in the face of challenges facing the country, many of which were inherited in the past years of insecurity, inflation and other challenges like health, we admire your support and collaboration with the State Governor to lift up Ekiti and make the state a beautiful land of honour. The state governor recognises all your efforts and he is committed to the cordial and mutual relationship with you. The State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji counts on your support in the coming June election, so that we can all work together for a greater Ekiti State, our land of birth.
Oyebanji approved the minimum wage, car and housing loans, including N200miIIion for teachers’loan, cleared pension areas with N55.8b, promotion for civil servants, including the Civil Service Teaching Service, Local Government Service, SUBEB Teachers and other related parastatals, disbursed N7.6b in gratuity to retired civil servants and constant engagement with labour leaders. Please come out and vote and let the entire civil service in the South-West, our fatherland, be onthe same page, same political party towards greater Regional Integration and Development.
